“Black / White / Green: Bioimages Residencies” is a creative project in the field of photography, inscribed in artistic practices in the scope of media ecology and in the perspective of design criticism. Promoted by Casa da Imagem in collaboration with i2ADS – Fine Artes Faculty of Universidade do Porto and Cultureghem. It is composed by two phases of artistic residences (Ecolabs and Dialogues), by moments of artistic mediation, exhibitions and an edition.
Ecolabs Residencies: Design and execution of two “ecolabs” prototypes to be developed at Casa da Imagem and Cultureghem.
Dialogues Residencies. Carries out artistic residencies that propose the experimentation of ecolabs from authorial practices of artistic creation, promoting processes that bring together and establish dialogues between art and the environment.
Along with the Residencies, the project carries out artistic mediation activities with school audiences and with the general public. Exhibitions will be promoted, presenting the processes and results of the different phases of the residencies. The first exhibition will take place in Casa da Imagem.
The project ends with the edition of a joint publication between i2ADS partners and Pierrot Le Fou, which compiles and shares the project’s results and processes.
