Since 2015 Casa da Imagem has been conducting Teacher Training, following the “Workshops” model. These trainings have resulted from direct requests from educators and teachers who wish to renew their educational references and proposals in relation to artistic expression.
In each training we integrate the knowledge of the trainees in the development of new theoretical and practical possibilities for their work. We use a methodology that integrates the contents in the empirical enquiry in work situations and that allows the analysis and reflection on the professional action of each one.

The Training actions carried out by the Casa are accredited by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council of Continuing Education and are aimed at pre-school, primary and secondary education teachers.
In 2019-2020, Casa da Imagem held training courses for teachers in collaboration with the Gaia Nascente Schools Association Training Centre, with the training in “Graphic Arts” and with the Viana do Castelo Continuous Training Centre, with the training in “Design Thinking Applied to Learning”.
