#NarcisOnline: the portraits of children and youg people on social media
#NarcisOnline is a creative school project that inteds to generate an educative and citizenship movemet within media scope.
It’s a net action that puts forward positive practical actions, endowing teachers, childrens and young people with visual and digital literacy tools by creating and critically analysing selfies and portrait photographies. With Casa da Imagem’s Education Department support, the school community can work contexts associated to mobile social media, digital media, cyberbulling and ethic questions related to communication in the internet.
With this project, Casa da Imagem alerts to digital social media impact to images disseminating and visibility in the public sphere. As an answer, #NarcisOnline promotes tool’s acquisition for online chritic production, generating creative selfdefense mechanisms towards potential threats.
