It was with great enthusiasm that the boys and girls from Escola da Ponte in Santo Tirso presented the shadow play “Short Words”. The theatre was the culmination of several workshop sessions where the plot, characters and environments of the story were designed.
Angels, bears, astronauts and other puppets projected their shadows onto the screen while the students brought their creations to life and took them to different fantastical worlds. At the end, the audience’s applauses were loud and clear as they were thrilled by every moment of the play and by the actors’ phenomenal performance, confirming the show’s enormous success.
This initiative came from the collaboration between Casa da Imagem and Porto PostDoc that sought to take the spirit of the festival to schools and children.
