Understanding how young people may critically and socially engage in social media

The work of the european collaboration project #NarcissusMeetsPandora will be announced and debated in a webinar on the 25th of February.

The event, hosted by the Europe Regional Council of InSEA, will present a set of tools that explore visual and digital competences, in formal and non-formal learning contexts, and the results of its implementation. With that in mind, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an experimental and arts-based activity that explores social media content production in a creative and critical way.

A practical workshop “Mythology and the digital era” will, therefore, be the focal point of the webinar, and everyone present will be invited to experience it and discuss its results. This workshop  goes through the Greek myths of “Narcissus” and “Pandora” and relates them with today’s young peoples portrait images’ production and its online sharing. To get familiar with the myths and artworks visit https://narcissusmeetspandora.eu/webinar/.

The webinar is free of charge, but booking is necessary. Please register now in advance and share it with your fellow art educators.
