The project’s first objective was to provide a historical framework and theoretical reflection on the photographic processes of the 19th and early 20th centuries, cyanotype, salted paper, Van Dyke brown, albumen and wet collodion, which are now understood as alternative photographic processes. Secondly, the project put these processes into practice using an up-to-date and adapted methodology, making it possible to create clear and operative instructions for teaching purposes; an edition of postcards was produced which are available to visitors to the Casa das Imagens Museum – we’ve made this collection available HERE<\/a>.
