TEACHER TRAINING
Each course seeks to integrate the trainees’ knowledge in order to develop new theoretical and practical possibilities for their work. A methodology is used that integrates content with empirical enquiry in work situations and allows each trainee to analyse and reflect on their professional actions.
Casa’s training courses are accredited by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education and are aimed at pre-school, primary and secondary school teachers.

SURREAL.MIND: taking a fresh look at school through art and social innovation
In this training course, we propose various actions that complement the practices of art and social innovation, fostering new creative ‘looks’ at everyday life, focussed on the student and their learning.
We promote experimentation with playful and poetic artistic methods, incorporating new visual and sensory codes, going against a teaching practice that tends to be logical-verbal. We propose collaborative and interdisciplinary work, promoting a transversal understanding of the curriculum and fostering renewed and purposeful practices.

Portraits of young people on social networks: pedagogical practices
Teacher training workshop that addresses key issues linked to digital skills, social inclusion and education. It responds to the challenge of receiving and producing social media content for both young people and adults, complementing teacher training in digital competences. The training is therefore suitable for all teaching groups.
The training develops digital competences and social engagement in an innovative way, training for reflection and creative expression, working with young people’s digital portraits as part of a pedagogical experience.
The training activities use arts-based methodologies and digital technologies. The themes covered are related to citizenship and the resources cut across various disciplines, working on ethical issues and self-representation.
