# narcisOnline: the power of images and social media in raising awareness and promoting inclusion of intellectual disability
Goals? Develop and implement a pilot programme of co-creation activities to promote cross-cutting communication and visual and legal skills among people with intellectual disabilities. This programme will use non-formal, arts-based learning activities to promote accessibility, representation, civic participation and employability.
Where will we be operating? Together with young people and adults who use the CIS – Social Inclusion Centres in Vila Nova de Gaia, specifically the units in Avintes, Canelas and Grijó, and the APPACDM in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Social investors? Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Gaia, a par do Complexo de Neurointervenção da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa – Delegação de Vila Nova de Gaia, da ENDIR, do Grupo Ribadouro e da SONAE.
Over the course of two years, we will work together to develop cross-cutting skills for people with intellectual disabilities and raise awareness among the community at large, creating and providing practical tools and guidelines for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in social networks.
