Casa da Imagem will host the presentation of the book “Manuel Leão (1920-2010) – Biography”. The event, which will take place next Friday, 28 October, at 6 p.m., will also be a way to honour the founder of the Manuel Leão Foundation.

Father, teacher and entrepreneur, Manuel Leão is linked to the creation of the Professional School of Gaia and the Higher Polytechnic Institute and to several social works in the region of Vila Nova de Gaia that will be explored throughout the pages of this book.

The event will feature speeches by the author, José Pedro Angélico, the President of the Gaia Municipal Council, Eduardo Vítor Rodrigues (still to be confirmed), Carlos A. Moreira Azevedo and the President of the Manuel Leão Foundation, Joaquim Azevedo, followed by a Port of Honour.
