DIORAMAS
Images on stage
Using photographic images by Teófilo Rego or themes he has worked on, we will build a mobile scenic device from which new miniature scenes will emerge. It’s a small diorama made of paper, which can be photographed as if it were a landscape with characters on a theatre or film set.
This workshop uses photographic images to work on the design and composition of three-dimensional space and transforms it back into two-dimensional photographic images. Audience: from 15 years old . Request information
The photographer’s craft
Assembling dioramas, small theatrical boxes, in which we compose a three-dimensional image from photographs of various activities and jobs, some of which we no longer see today, recorded by Teófilo Rego in the mid-20th century: the shepherd boy, the starfish gatherer, the washerwomen; and the clowns, the market vendor, the balloons and the regueifa. Individual work, cutting and pasting. Audience: from 10 years old . Request information
