#NARCISSUSMEETSPANDORA: THE PORTRAITS OF YOUNG PEOPLE ON SOCIAL NETWORKS is an innovative project aimed at teenagers and young people, teachers and educators, and all of civil society who wish to take part. The #NarcissusMeetsPandora project invites participants to reflect on the practice of sharing portraits and ‘selfies’ on social media, exploring the potential for educational and artistic experiences to inform the creation and representation of content on these platforms.
#NarcissusMeetsPandora is an initiative that seeks to nurture digital and visual skills, with a view to encouraging the thoughtful engagement of teenagers and young people in the realm of social media. The aim is to cultivate their ability to reflect, express themselves, and communicate effectively. In a changing society, social sustainability requires the involvement of teenagers and young people in creative and dynamic learning processes, taking advantage of intercultural dialogue to value diversity and active citizenship.
