BRIDGING: BUILDING EDUCATIONAL BRIDGES IN THE CITY, an ERASMUS+ project, has created partnerships and continuous exchanges of knowledge between different organisations in city life: schools, cultural institutions and universities, in four countries. Europe is a huge mosaic of diversities, cultural backgrounds, levels of prosperity, knowledge and experience. European cities are very different from each other, in terms of economic activities, housing, or even the characteristics of the population. Educators therefore feel the need to have access to new ways of understanding educational action, which inspire and stimulate them to develop new pedagogical processes in a context of sharing and collaboration. In Bridging, art is used as a cross-cultural mediator to enable children to discover their city and establish relationships with others, despite cultural and linguistic differences.
